Christmas Light Installation in Corinth & the Lake Cities, TX
Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, and Shady Shores share a lake, a chamber of commerce, and a Fourth of July. They are not one town repeated four times — so each gets its own lighting plan. Full-service C9 LED from a family-run crew based across the bridge in Lewisville.
Full-service C9 LED — design, install, maintenance, takedown, and storage in one price.
The Lake Cities are four neighboring towns on Lewisville Lake — Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, and Shady Shores — and we serve all four from Lewisville, just across the I-35E lake bridge (roughly ten to fifteen minutes in ordinary traffic). Full-service commercial-grade C9 LED, custom-cut to your roofline: design, installation, in-season repair visits, January takedown, and storage in one seasonal price. Published DFW market rates: $5–$12 per linear foot, most homes $700–$2,500+. Quotes are free.
Four Towns, Four Lighting Profiles
The Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce describes its territory as "four different cities that border each other." Bordering is not the same as matching. Here is what each town says about itself, and what that suggests for a December design.
| Town | On the Record | The Lighting Profile |
|---|---|---|
| Corinth | Established in 1960 and home to more than 22,000 residents. Oakmont Country Club, with its 18-hole course, sits on 170 acres here, and the chamber counts 663 single-family lots in various stages of development. | The complete roofline. Subdivision streets reward a clean, continuous line: ridges, eaves, and gables traced in one color, cut to length so nothing droops past a corner. If your neighborhood has an HOA, read its decor language before you design. |
| Lake Dallas | The smallest of the Lake Cities in square miles, by the chamber's own account, with 108 acres of parks, a marina, and a Main Street that hosts the December parade. The chamber's tagline for it: "Small Town, Big Lake, Endless Opportunities." | Built for walking speed. Small-town streets get seen slowly, especially parade week. A warm-white roofline with a lit wreath or garland at the door holds up to a long look better than sheer volume does. |
| Hickory Creek | Straddles I-35E. The chamber's description opens with the trees and goes on to "parks that follow the contours of the lake"; the town lists access to seven U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks on Lewisville Lake. | Trees first, roofline second. Where trees stand between the street and the house, light the trees — trunk wraps on the two or three that frame the drive — and let the roofline be the backdrop. |
| Shady Shores | Incorporated in 1960 and once known as a fishing village. Nearly 3,000 residents on about three square miles, with what the chamber calls "abundant heritage trees" and resident deer. | The name is the brief. Restraint works: a lit entry, a few wrapped trunks, and roofline only where it shows from the road. The deer have not expressed a preference. |
Town descriptions from the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce (lakecitieschamber.com), the Town of Hickory Creek (hickorycreek-tx.gov), and Oakmont Country Club's operator (invitedclubs.com), all checked October 2026. The lighting profiles are our design starting points, not rules — your quote is built from your actual house, and our HOA guide covers what to look for in the fine print.
Not sure which profile is yours? Text a photo of the front of your home to (469) 333-1120 and we'll send back a labeled design rendering with your quote. It costs nothing, and it settles the roofline-versus-trees question faster than a table can. Details on the free mockup page.
Two Dates the Lake Cities Already Keep
These towns pool their summer — the chamber lists the all-day Lake Cities 4th of July among Lake Dallas's events. December has at least two fixed points of its own, both officially on the 2026 calendar.
Merry-on-Main — Saturday, December 5
The City of Lake Dallas lists its 5th Annual Merry-on-Main Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting for December 5, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 212 Main Street, with cookies and cocoa and pictures with Santa (lakedallas.com, checked October 2026). If you want the house lit before the town's tree is, this is the date to count back from.
Christmas at the Commons — December 19
Corinth's published 2026 community event schedule puts Christmas at the Commons on December 19, from 3 to 8 p.m., at the Commons at Agora — the city's multi-purpose public park on Agora Way (cityofcorinth.com, checked October 2026). The city has postponed this event for weather before, so confirm with Corinth closer to the day.
The scheduling arithmetic: our installs run from late October through early December, and takedown happens in January. Book as early as you can; by late October calendars across DFW are genuinely tight, and November callers often land on waitlists. The longer version is in our when-to-book guide.
One Bridge, One Price, Nothing in Your Garage
We're a family-run crew based in Lewisville, and the Lake Cities begin where the I-35E bridge over the lake ends. Our crew has lit 500+ DFW homes over the past decade. The arrangement is a lease, not a purchase — we own the lights, and they come back every season without you storing a single tote.
You send a photo
Quotes usually need no site visit. Text a picture of the house, tell us what you'd like lit, and the quote comes back with a labeled design rendering so you can see the plan before agreeing to it.
We bring everything
Commercial-grade C9 LED, custom-cut to your roofline and mounted with clips only — nothing screwed or stapled to fascia or stone. Trees and landscape and wreaths and garland can be part of the same design.
We come back
In-season repair visits are included if a section goes dark. In January we take everything down and store it for the off-season. One seasonal price covers all of it.
What Lake Cities homes pay: published DFW market data runs $5–$12 per linear foot full-service, most homes $700–$2,500+. Those are market ranges, not a price list, and the same per-foot math applies in all four towns. A long two-story roofline carries more feet than a single-story one; a trees-first design may trade roofline feet for tree work. Sourced breakdown on the DFW cost page.

What Lake Cities Homeowners Ask First
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Corinth and the Lake Cities?
Published DFW market data runs $5–$12 per linear foot for full-service C9 LED, and most DFW homes land between $700 and $2,500+. Those are market ranges, not our price list. Roofline length and how much of the house you choose to light drive the number, whichever of the four towns you live in, and quotes are free.
Do you serve all four Lake Cities, or only Corinth?
All four: Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, and Shady Shores. They border each other along Lewisville Lake, and they sit just across the I-35E lake bridge from our Lewisville base. The same full-service lease applies in all four towns.
Can lights be up in time for Merry-on-Main or Christmas at the Commons?
The City of Lake Dallas lists its 5th Annual Merry-on-Main Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting for Saturday, December 5, 2026, and the City of Corinth's 2026 event schedule lists Christmas at the Commons for December 19. Our installs run from late October through early December, so being lit before either date is realistic if you book early. By late October calendars across DFW are genuinely tight, and November callers often land on waitlists.
Our lot is mostly trees. Is a roofline still the right place to start?
Not always. On a wooded Hickory Creek or Shady Shores lot the house can sit behind the canopy, and a few well-chosen trunk wraps or a lit entry may do more than a roofline nobody can see from the road. On an open subdivision street in Corinth the roofline is usually the whole show. Text us a photo and the free design mockup will show the options before you decide.
What does full-service include?
One seasonal price covers design, commercial-grade C9 LED lights custom-cut to your roofline, installation with clips only, in-season repair visits, January takedown, and off-season storage. We own the lights. You never buy, store, or hang anything.
