What It Costs, and How Quotes Work
How much does Christmas light installation cost in DFW?
Published Dallas–Fort Worth market data puts basic professional installation at $3–$7 per linear foot, and full-service commercial-grade C9 LED programs — lights, maintenance, takedown, and storage included — at $5–$12 per linear foot. Most DFW homes land between $700 and $2,500+ depending on roofline length, stories, and whether trees and decor are added. Those are market ranges, not our quote; your number comes from your actual roofline.
Are quotes free, and do you need to come to my house?
Quotes are free with no obligation and no deposit to see numbers. Most don't need a site visit: your city and what you'd like lit are usually enough for a ballpark, and a photo of the front of your home makes it more exact.
What does the full-service price include?
One seasonal price covers the design, commercial-grade C9 LED lights custom-cut to your roofline, professional installation, in-season maintenance if anything goes dark, takedown in January, and off-season storage. Trees, landscape, wreaths, and garland are itemized separately so you can choose what fits your budget.
Do I have to buy the lights?
No. We own the lights, cut them to fit your home, and include them in the seasonal price. Because we own and store the materials, a damaged or faded strand is ours to replace, never yours.
Does booking earlier get me a better price?
Earlier booking mostly buys selection rather than discounts: first pick of install dates and time for a measured design. Some companies offer early-bird pricing or add late-season rush fees, so when you compare quotes, ask whether the number you're given depends on when you book.
Can I see what my house will look like before I decide?
Yes. Text a straight-on daylight photo of the front of your home to (469) 333-1120 and we'll send back a design rendering with your quote — free with any quote request, one per address, no obligation. Every rendering is labeled as a rendering; it's a preview of the look, not a photograph of finished work.

When to Book, and When Lights Go Up
When should I book Christmas light installation in DFW?
As early as you can — late summer or early fall is ideal. Across DFW, established installers' calendars genuinely fill by late October, and the earliest bookings get first pick of install dates in November. If it's already October or November, ask now: it costs nothing, and the sooner you're on the calendar the more dates are still open.
Is it too late to book in November?
Not automatically, but November is the hardest month to start. A November request is fitted into what remains: cancellation slots, weather-makeup days, and December install dates. Smaller, simpler rooflines have the best odds, and flexibility on the date helps more than anything else.
When do the lights go up and come down?
Most DFW installs happen from late October through early December, and lights can stay dark until you want them on. Takedown happens in January, and everything is stored until next season.
How long does an installation take?
Most single-family rooflines are hung and tested in a few hours; large two-story homes with complex ridgelines can take the better part of a day. Lights are measured and cut before install day, so time at your home is spent hanging and testing.

What Goes on the House
What kind of lights do you use?
Commercial-grade C9 LED — the classic large bulb professional displays are built on. Bulbs snap into sockets on commercial wire that's cut to length, so the run fits your roofline exactly instead of ending wherever a store strand happens to end, and color patterns are easy to set.
Warm white or multicolor — which looks better?
It's taste, with a few useful rules. Warm white reads elegant and works with any brick or stone; multicolor reads classic and festive; red-and-white gives a candy-cane look. Our design guide shows the five classic C9 looks side by side.
Do you light trees, bushes, wreaths, and garland?
Yes. Trunk wraps, canopy lighting, shrubs, and pre-lit wreaths and garland are all available, matched to the color of the roofline so warm white means the same warm white everywhere. Tree and landscape lighting can also stand alone without a roofline.
Are the lights on a timer?
Yes. Displays run on outdoor timers, so the lights come on at dusk and shut off when you want without anyone flipping a switch.
How much electricity do LED Christmas lights use?
Very little. C9 LED bulbs draw a small fraction of the power the old incandescent C9 bulbs did, so a typical LED roofline adds only a few dollars to an electric bill over the whole season.

Roofs, Repairs, HOAs, and January
Will installation damage my roof or gutters?
No. Lights attach with purpose-made plastic clips that grip shingles, gutters, or ridgelines — no screws, nails, staples, or adhesive. The clips come down with the lights in January and leave nothing behind.
What happens if a section of lights goes out in December?
We come fix it. In-season maintenance is included with every full-service install, so a dark section is a repair visit on us, not a service call billed to you.
Will my HOA allow Christmas lights?
Most DFW communities allow seasonal lighting, but many set display dates and some regulate attachment methods or brightness. Your community's recorded documents are what govern. Our HOA guide explains what covenants typically cover and how to check yours in about ten minutes.
Do you take the lights down and store them?
Yes. Takedown in January and off-season storage are both part of the seasonal price. You never climb, coil, label, or find attic space for anything.
